Comparing to Tohoshinki, swept across Asia's SS501 held their concerts in Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong and each time it attract thousands of people attending. One of the member Park Jung Min is the 1st to start his solo activities. Korean, Japanese and Chinese language which he is good in is currently having his active activities over in Korea, Japan and Taiwan. His strength of Japanese has given him a chance to be the MC of a joint Korean Japanese large scale performance. "No one is without a goal, because of its own way to find their own path." Jungmin who said these words is the model of the young idols now. Now with this kind of mentality of character is hard to find.

"I am still not in a position to give (the hoobaes) any advices or suggestions, but I must be responsible for my actions, this cannot be forgotten. Because when you are in other countries, when other look at you, it will reflect on you, your actions as they will take it that you are representing the image of koreans. Thus, when I go to a foreign country, I will try to understand the country's culture, taking the effort to integrate myself into that country."

When being asked questions on being a diversified idol, he answered, "During and after the understanding of 'Want to do' and 'Can Do', I feel that those things that I can do I will do it."

"What are the difference in the activities in Korea and other countries? This question is hard to answer. (Korea and other countries) are countries that are very easy to get used to, feel that the world is in universal harmony (smile). Although there bound to be stress in work, but as long as you feel that you are happy in whatever you do, then it will be alright." the reason that he said this was due to that he wanna to be a no national boundaries kinda of star who can show off his abilties to everyone.

Kim Hyun Joong To Release Solo Debut Album in June

Actor and SS501 member Kim Hyunjoong will also be releasing his solo debut album this year. He is the fourth SS501 this year to be releasing a solo album. He follows Park Jungmin ("The, Park Jungmin"), Kim Hyungjoon ("Girl"), and Heo Youngsaeng ("Let It Go"). Kim Kyujong is the only SS501 member to have not announced an album release so far, and he will be focusing on his acting instead.

Kim Hyunjoong's solo album will be released in June and he will make his official debut as a solo singer. A representative from his agency, Key East, said to Newsen in an interview on April 8th, "A variety of songs have been selected and he will soon go into recording."

He will be focusing on the recording of his album and will not participate in external activities.

Heo Youngsaeng announced that he will be releasing a dance track for his solo debut. What kind of song do you think Hyunjoong will release?

Kim Kyu Jong To Make Musical Debut With 'Goong'?

After the last official fanmeeting with fellow SS501 member Heo Youngsaeng last December, Kim Kyujong whose activities have been paused temporarily is expected to be started off after a long while very soon.

After DBSG's U-Know Yunho, it was made known that Kim Kyujong has a very high possibility of taking on the role of Prince Lee Shin in musical 'Goong'. Especially with this musical 'Goong' to be on play in Japan, it is expected that this musical will stir about a new gust of Hanryu musical wind in Japan, and anticipation built has been very high up till now.

Personnel from Kim Kyujong's agency has told MK Star Today in an interview, "It's true that we've received talks and invitation from the 'Goong' musical, but it's not confirmed as yet. We'll release news next week through the homepage", as he disclosed.

Kim Kyujong's musical debut 'Goong' was adapted from Park Sohee's same-name manga. In 2006, it was being first adapted into a drama starring Yoon Eunhye and Joo Jihoon where it propelled them all into stardom.

This musical is slated for showtime in Japan's Kyoto Minami prefecture's located theaters from June 4 to June 23.

Regarding Saengie's New Album

SS501’s Heo Young Saeng to make his solo debut with a dance track, “Let It Go”

SS501′s Heo Young Saeng will finally be following in the footsteps of his bandmates by going solo!

His agency, B2M Entertainment, revealed, “Heo Young Saeng will be working with Sweetunes, the composing team behind the majority of KARA’s hit tracks. He won’t be going for a ballad, but will present a strong dance track instead.”

As the main vocalist of SS501, Heo Young Saeng already had his vocal talent recognized by the masses. Consequently, fans expected him to come out with a sultry ballad that displayed more of his talent. Young Saeng, however, is more determined than ever to show a new side of himself through his title track, “Let It Go.”

With three out of the five SS501 members promoting in the industry, and Kim Hyun Joong preparing for his solo as well, fans can expect a busy year from the members. Kim Kyu Jong will also be transitioning into acting, and is currently taking acting lessons.

Heo YoungSaeng ‘Dance’ Solo… Works with KARA’s Composer

Instead of ballad, chooses dance song, prepares for an excellent dance

SS501 Heo YoungSaeng opens fire for his solo activities.

His agency B2M Entertainment revealed on 8-Apr “Heo YoungSaeng is working with Sweetunes who made most of the hit songs for KARA, and returns for his solo activities. He will be standing on stage differently with a powerful dance song.”

Heo YoungSaeng is the main vocal of SS501 and has gained recognition for his singing ability. His title song LET IT GO, is a impressive song with powerful beat. Eve though fans expected that he would have a sensual ballad song, he chose the unexpected. He hopes that with his comeback as a solo, he can appeal to fans with his singing ability as well as his dancing ability which he has put in a lot of efforts all these while.

Agency’s representative said “Heo YoungSaeng sang Bi’s ‘Song to hold you’ during his fan meeting, and displayed his excellent dance ability. The performance this time will be also different from the days of group activities, you will be able to see a new side of him.”

Besides Kim HyungJun and Park JungMin, Heo YoungSaeng has also started his solo activities. Kim HyunJoong will also release his album within this year and starts his solo activities. Kim KyuJong is looking for a work to transform into an actor.

Park Jung Min, Cries In Order to Become a Man... Releases Photobook

Singer Park JungMin from group SS501, released a photobook consisting of various of his charisma, from sweet to chic.

Released on 8-Apr, the photobook included with Park JungMin’s first mini album ‘The, Park Jung Min’, is Park JungMin’s first ever solo photobook and contains diverse attraction of Park JungMin. He shows an even wider range of acting skills from the ‘charisma chic’ image shown in his last single album ‘Not Alone’.

With the photobook is the so-called main cover of ‘The, Park JungMin’ which you cannot tell which is the front and back, the two-sided concept of the album gained much attention.

‘The, Park Jung Min’ jacket concept is ‘tears’, one side shows innocence while with tears of being moved, the other side shows a sympathetic and determined guy’s tears.

A lovely and mischievous kind of guy, Park JungMin gives a feeling of getting more matured as a male, an adult, a solo singer. And it was known that he discussed with the photo director on the appeal, as well as directing the shoot.

Park Jung Min Attends “PUMA Social” Launch Party

On April 7th, “PUMA“ held their launch party for their global campaign, “PUMA Social“, at a pub in Apgujung, Seoul.

It was a star-studded event that was attended by Kim Na Young, Jung Gyu Woon, Park Jung Min, 4minute, Hyun Woo, Jewelry, Baekga, Rainbow, 2AM’s Seulong, Lee Da Hae, and ZE:A.

The “PUMA Social” campaign was done under the theme of ‘P(Play)’, ‘U(Us)’, ‘M(Music)’, and ‘A(Art)’, and is a collective program combining the genres of sports, music, and the arts. At the launch party, stars could compete in games like bowling, table tennis, pocket ball, darts, foosball, and various arcade games in a tournament-style competition. The final winner received PUMA t-shirts and other prizes.

Kim Hyun Joong Selected As Model For Lotte Duty Free Shop

“Lotte Duty-Free Shop” has selected a slew of new models for their brand in addition to their current models, Song Seung Hun, Rain, Choi Ji Woo, and JYJ!

Their first line of models represent the first generation of the Hallyu wave, and in an effort to keep up with the trends of the current wave, Lotte Duty-Free has added Kim Hyun Joong, 2PM, Jang Geun Suk, Hyun Bin, and others to expand their marketing potential.

While most brands hold two to three models, Lotte Duty-Free is unique in that it holds a whopping nine teams, with 16 models in total.

Director Kim Ju Nam of Lotte’s marketing team explained, “The reason we are signing on such mammoth stars is not simply for our sales. Lotte’s star marketing emphasizes the creation of new content. Our aim is to expand Korea’s tourism industry through enter’tour’ment marketing, a combination of the tourism industry and the entertainment industry.”

The new line of models will be singing the brand’s theme song, “So I’m Loving You.” Additionally, they will also be participating in a variety of different events such as fan meetings, star relays, and talk shows.

Singer Park JungMin grant fan’s wish with ‘flying kiss’.

On the 3rd, 3pm, Seoul, GwangJin-Gu, JaYang-dong, Konkuk University’s Millennium Hall, singer Park JungMin spend his 25th birthday party together with fans.

SS501 members Kim Hyung Jun and Park Jung Min proved their strong bond on April 3rd.

Park Jung Min got together with his fans at the Konkuk University for the first time in seven years (since his debut) to celebrate his birthday with them. Kim Hyung Jun surprised Park Jung Min by visiting him and wishing him a “happy birthday”.

Park Jung Min took selcas with fans, wrote his name with his butt, and did many more silly things during the event to entertain his best fans. He also touched their hearts by reading a handwritten letter he previously wrote. The party came to an end with a music video that aired a montage of memories.

He will be releasing a mini album titled, “The Park Jung Min”, on the 7th, along with his photobook. Afterwards, he is diving into filming a Taiwanese drama.

T-ara’s Jiyeon reveals her collarbone

T-ara’s maknae Jiyeon recently uploaded a picture on her Twitter with the comment, “lululala – koong koong“.

[A-Peace] Double B 21 - 러브 보이 @ BBS Music Station

Idol group A-Peace has been drawing considerable interest because their considerable size.
With twenty-one members of heights all over 185 cm - that’s Super Junior meets Nine Muses - their group size obviously presents challenges to even the most basic functions that normal idol groups are expected to perform/do.  For example, divying up the singing will present a producer’s nightmare. Fortunately, a solution was found in splitting the boys into three groups of seven.
But what about choreography?  How can twenty-one guys all fit on the same stage and dance in unison?  If you’re curious, check out this latest video from a live showcase on BBS Station, where they perform their catchy new track, “Lover Boy“.

Warning – it may prove to be a bit overwhelming at first, since it seems like there’s a nicely-suited mob on stage.

B2ST releases CF for Ottogi Ramen!

Idol group B2ST has lined up yet another advertising deal, this time as representatives for Ottogi Ramen!
This CF features a young, crazed fan who calls out “Doojoon-oppa!  Doojoon-oppa!”  She gives him tons of ramen tied together in the shape of a heart. Doojoon is ticked off, but as soon as he starts eating the ramen, he changes his mind because they’re just that delicious.

MBC cancels this week’s “Music Core”

Due to MBC broadcasting the 2011 Lotte Card Pro Baseball opening today, “Music Core” has been canceled for the week.
With the game taking place in the same time slot, MBC has decided to make a last minute change to the time slot, leaving viewers frustrated and annoyed. Due to MBC’s failure to announce it earlier, viewers have been flooding the show’s message board and expressing their disappointment.
Recording went on as scheduled though and MBC plans to show them on the April 9th episode.
The line-up after “Music Core,” which includes “We Got Married” and “Infinity Challenge,” will broadcast as scheduled, that is if the game finishes on time.

IU & Jo Young Nam sing “Perianth Marketplace” for SK Telecom’s T-Store

The “nation’s singer” and “nation’s little sister,” Jo Young Nam and IU, have come together for SK Telecom’s “T-Store” application CF!
The two sang a duet of Jo Young Nam’s own hit track, “Perianth Marketplace“, as the advertisement’s main theme song, only there was a slight change in the lyrics:  “Come and check it out~ The place where customers come~ Application marketplace~ There is nothing that you can’t find~ T-Store.”
The CF was also created in celebration of the T-Store hitting 170 million in downloads.

In order to express the diversity of their T-Store, IU and Jo Young Nam made various transformations into DJs, reggae singers, Chinese restaurant chefs, beautiful ladies, and 20 other roles.
IU even used her famous ‘three high notes’ in the song, showing off her impressive vocals once more under the support and direction of senior Jo Young Nam.

Stars attended denim casual brand Bean Pole Jeans’ ‘Bean Pole Jeans 9 by Goldie‘ launching event on April 1st, held in one of Bean Pole’s stores in Seoul.

Many stars attended the fashion event, including f(x)’s Victoria and Krystal, TVXQ’s Changmin, SS501’s Park Jung Min, and Choi Yeo Jin.

Bean Pole Jean collaborated with England’s Goldie, an artist and DJ known for being the ‘godfather’ of Drum & Base. He launched his own creative and dynamic t-shirt line through a collaboration with Bean Pole. The fashion event was held under the concept of ‘Real Club Party‘ and showcased Goldie’s original artworks, as well as his DJing skills.
